How do I print the placemats?
I made the placemats in two different sizes, A4 and US Letter, so you can choose whichever fits your printer best. All you need to do is download the file, open it on your computer, and hit print.
I always recommend using a bit thicker paper if you have it at home, because it makes the placemats sturdier for kids’ activities. But regular printer paper also works perfectly fine.
Do I need special paper?
No, you can print the placemats on regular printer paper. That’s what I usually do when I want something quick and easy for my kids.
If you want them a bit more durable, I suggest using card stock or thicker paper. It gives the placemat a nice finish and makes it easier for little hands to handle without tearing.
How do I download my file?
Once you complete your purchase, you’ll receive an email with the link to download your placemat. You can also access it directly from your order page if you prefer.
I always suggest saving the file to your computer so you can print it as many times as you want. That way you will always have it ready when you need a fun activity.
What age are these placemats for?
The placemats are designed for kids between 3 and 10 years old, but of course every child is different. My younger one loves doodling on them even though he can’t read yet.
Older kids enjoy the little puzzles and games included. I try to keep the activities simple enough for younger children but still fun and engaging for the older ones.
Do the placemats come with extra activities?
Yes, each placemat comes with three free colouring pages. I wanted to make sure kids had a little extra fun and something to keep them busy after they finish the main activity.
My boys love these pages, especially when I print them multiple times so they can colour in different ways. It’s a simple bonus that adds extra joy for your kids.
Can I reuse the placemats?
Yes, you can. If you laminate them or use clear plastic sleeves, the placemats can be used again and again with dry-erase markers. This is what I do at home.
It’s not only fun for kids but also saves you money and paper. Plus, kids never get bored because they can create a new version every time they play.
What if I don’t have a printer at home?
If you don’t have a printer, you can take the file to a local print shop. They can print it for you in either A4 or US Letter size. I’ve done this myself a few times when I wanted really nice quality paper or colour printing. It’s quick and usually very affordable for a few pages.
Do the placemats have my child’s name on them?
Yes, many of the placemats can be personalised with your child’s name. I think it makes kids feel extra special to see their name on something fun just for them.
If you don’t want a name included, I also have designs without it. That way siblings or party guests can all share without worrying about whose placemat belongs to who.
